Virtual “Sandwich Generation”Support Group
What is “Sandwich Generation”? People in a “Sandwich Generation” are adults who provide care for at least one parent over the age of 65 while also taking care of at least one child under 18; are caring for both their aging parents and own children.
Individuals who are in this role can experience poor mental health issues such as anxiety and depressive symptoms, isolation, lack of self care and stress within their family system.
